About Us

Currently the the Scenic South District Churches and the District Office are observing "Social Distancing" as mandated by the Holston Conference in an effort to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. We will continue to check email and work from home.  Many of our churches are using Facebook groups and other forms of Social networking as a way to safely fellowship in during these challenging times. If you have questions please call the office (423) 629-0333 and leave a message or email, [email protected]. We will return your call as soon as possible. Continue to pray for our Country and the World.

United Methodist Churches from two states (and two time zones) come together as the Scenic South District. Mountains. Valleys, Farmlands. College campuses. Hipster hangouts. Country clubs. High tech businesses. Small town diners. State of the art hospitals. Quiet nursing homes. Everywhere you go in the greater Chattanooga area you will find Methodist churches filled with people who love their neighbors and communities and who want to spread the love of Jesus Christ to everyone they meet.

Awe came upon everyone, because many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need. Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.
Acts 2:43-47
